As estimated by Vogue, Jacob and Co.’s Fantasy Bra worn by Kylie Jenner on October 18 is worth roughly $50 million. The bra itself is covered in 4,410 natural diamonds, including the centerpiece—a 75.54-carat Fancy Vivid Yellow. The previous record-breaking bra, Red Hot Fantasy, was worth $15 million back in 2000, when it was worn by Gisele Bündchen. Even adding 87% to adjust for cumulative inflation, it would have been $28 million in 2025, making the new bra worth 1.8 times the old record.
Key takeaways
- The value of the 2026 Fantasy Bra is estimated at $50 million.
- The new bra is worth 1.8 times the old record, Gisele’s $15M Red Hot Fantasy Bra from 2000 ($28M in 2025 dollars).
- At “just” $36,400 per carat, the new record is also far cheaper per carat than the 2004 bra, which comes up to $152,200 per carat.
The estimated $50 million 2026 Fantasy Bra tops the ranking, surpassing Gisele Bündchen’s 2000 Red Hot Fantasy Bra, worth $28 million in 2025 dollars.
The ranking in today’s dollars
The calculation is simple: to calculate the 2025 value adjusted for inflation, we take the 2025 CPI (consumer price index) and divide it by the CPI in the year of the show. Then we multiply the result by the reported value.
Once adjusted this way, the $10 million Millennium Bra from 1999 ranks above 2003’s $11 million Very Sexy Bra. At the same time, the three $10 million bras from 2002, 2004 and 2013 are $4.1 million apart.

Price per carat: The record bra is a bargain
In 2026 nominal value, this year’s bra comes up to $36,400 per carat. This is significantly cheaper than 2004’s Heavenly 70, which is $152,200 per carat, adjusted for inflation.
The value per carat depends on the big stones, as opposed to the total weight—according to Page Six, the 75.54-carat centerpiece is worth $22 million on its own. This brings its price per carat up to $291,200. The other $28 million is distributed among the other 4,409 diamonds, $21,600 per carat on average.
What $50 million buys today
- 122 homes → $50M ÷ $410,700 (Census median sales price of new houses, Q2 2026)
- 572 years of income → $50M ÷ $87,460 (Census 2025 median household income)
Rise, crash, and explosion: the timeline
- 1996–1998: Values climbed from $1 million to $5 million in two years.
- 1999–2005: The peak. All seven bras were $10 million or more, averaging $20.7 million, adjusted.
- 2006–2018: Values fell, averaging $5.3 million adjusted. 2014’s two Dream Angels bras ($4 million) count as one entry. 2013’s $10M bra was the only exception.
- 2018: The low point, Elsa Hosk’s $1M Swarovski bra.
- The show was canceled in 2019. When it came back in 2024 and 2025, there was no Fantasy Bra, until this year.
Methodology
All bras before 2026 are adjusted to 2025 dollars using BLS CPI-U annual averages (2025 = 321.943). The 2026 bra is in nominal 2026 dollars. Values are reported or estimated, and they are not sale prices. Carat totals were published for 2002–2005 and 2007 (Mouawad) and for 2026 (Jacob & Co.). The 2026 per-carat figures use the 1,373-carat total reported by Marie Claire, which includes the 75.54-carat center stone.
Home prices come from Census/FRED MSPUS, which covers new houses only. Income is the Census 2025 median household income in 2025 dollars.
