What is AP® Biology score?
The AP® Bio score is the final score that you receive on the AP® Biology exam. The score is based on performance in two sections, each contributing 50% of the total score:
- Multiple-choice section — 60 questions.

The AP® Biology exam takes 3 hours in total including:
- 90 minutes of multiple-choice section (60 questions)
- 90 minutes of free-response section (2 long and 4 short questions)

How hard is AP® Biology?
The AP® Biology exam is considered moderately to very challenging, depending on your background.

Is 4 a good AP® Bio score?
