How to convert currencies — Euros to Dollars example
Converting currencies is relatively straightforward and is given by this general equation:
Destination currency = Source currency × Exchange rate
To proceed, you need to look up the current exchange rate between the two currencies. For example, the Euro-to-Dollar exchange rate is currently 1.1636. So, if you want to exchange 150 Euros to US Dollars, you would perform the following calculation:
150 Euros × 1.1636 = 174.54 US Dollars
You can use the same method whether you are converting yen to USD, dollars to pesos, or any other currency.
